Right books to start your reading journey
Hey, people...Want to start reading but don't know where to start?
Yeah...As you can guess from the title, I'm gonna talk about books. And if you are here that means you are planning to start reading.
Okay so let me start with the first ever book I read, which was Chetan Bhagat's half girlfriend. Yeah...I know, that's not the smartest book to read but it's always better to start with something short and easier to keep the consistency. Let me tell you, why Chetan Bhagat?
1. It has easier language as compared to other romantic, fictional, or self-help novels
2. Teenagers are more interested in such love stories so it's a good book for teenagers to start with.
3. And if you are not a teenager then you can go for Chetan Bhagat's 'Five point Someone' because that's more fun and realistic comparatively
4. You can connect with the characters as every one of us might have some common factors like them.
So now that I have told you about my first book and how it was the start of my reading journey let's get to the next book I read after that. It was "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and let me tell you from that day till now I still prefer that book when I feel stuck and need a direction and trust me that helps!...and it's really important that you finish the book that you start. start with reading just one page a day and then slowly take it to two pages, three pages, and more. Once you finish reading your second book, reading starts becoming fun and you'll crave for some more.
And that is how I started my reading journey!
Well, some of my favorite books are-
✓ The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
✓ Rich dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
✓ Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
Post lockdown, Kindle and other such reading apps and websites have gained popularity so finding your favorite has become even easier if you're a fan of physical books like me you can go for thrift book shopping. There are certain places where you can find any book at just Rs. 100 and if you have a friend who is a reader too then it's even better you guys can buy two different books and swap them with each other after reading...Of course, if they have the same taste as you :D
Now it's up to you, what you choose to start with there is a whole ocean ahead of you...Go and explore!
Happy Reading!!
